He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Girod and Mary Girod (Straub); his wife Mary Jane (Rice); and his sister Anita Girod. He is survived by: his close friend Bonnie Cart; and his children, Jack D. Girod (Judy) of Bluffton, IN, Teresa F. Osborn (Kevin) of Bluffton, IN, Christi K. Fleishell of Decatur, IN and Susan J. Girod of Bluffton, IN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren.
