It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Lee Gerke of Decatur, Indiana, born in Perrysville, Indiana, who passed away on June 12, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hamand and Rheba Hamand (Fulk); and her brothers, Richard, Lamoyne, Ralph and Maynard Hamand.
She is survived by: her husband Arnold W. Gerke of Decatur, Indiana; her children, Treva D. Gerke of Decatur, Indiana, Lisa Pluckebaum (Joe) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Samuel Gerke (Mara) of Decatur, Indiana, Anthony "Andy" Gerke (Mindy) of Decatur, Indiana and Malinda Baker of Burleson, Texas; her sister Phyllis Berkenkotter of Howard, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Andrea, Ben, Clayton Pluckebaum, Trevor, Violet Baker, Brian, Ethan, Logan Gerke and Aaron Gerke Powell.
