Carolyn M. Wilder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn M. Wilder of Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Schultz and Esther C. Schultz Braun (Geimer); her brothers, Edward Schultz and Thomas Braun; her siblings-in-law, Aline Braun and Dan Meyer; and her stepfather Jerome Braun.
She is survived by: her children, Linda L. Yoder (Jeff) of Decatur, Indiana, Ronald A. Wilder (Cindy) of Monroe, Indiana, Carla J. Wilson (Scott) of Quincy, Michigan and Janet K. Bradtmueller (Doug) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her siblings, Betty Meyer of Decatur, Indiana, Pat Kable (Mike) of Decatur, Joyce Teeple (Gary) of Decatur, Indiana, Donald Braun (Linda) of Decatur and Jerome Braun of California; and her grandchildren, Michelle Cochran (Doug), Natalie Roe (Jon), Whittney Fiechter (Ethan), Zachary Wilder (Chyenne), Travis Wilder (Laura), Tasha Wilson, Dakota Wilson (Taylor), Austin Bradtmueller (Audrey) and Cole Bradtmueller (Kali Meyer). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to ACCF Heart, Stillwater Hospice, or The Bridge Community Church.
