He was predeceased by: his parent Christel Korte; and his grandson Jim Hendricks. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Korte of Decatur, Indiana, Karen Soldner (Jeff) of Roanoke, Indiana, Thomas Korte (Gelana) of Decatur, Indiana, Timothy Korte (Kim) of Roanoke, Indiana and Jean Skaggs (Rich) of Decatur, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Lenegar, Josh Korte, Brian Korte, Tyler Korte, Braden Korte, Kelsey Krauter and Jonathon Skaggs; his stepgrandchildren, Rich Skaggs Jr., Lani Soldner, Nicole Soldner, John Geller and Cassidy Geller; his great grandchildren, Chase Lenegar, Dane Lenegar, Josie Korte, Emery Korte, Sawyer Korte, Maddox Korte, Archer Korte, Wyatt Korte, Walker Korte and Hudson Korte; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler Sherrill, Trey Skaggs, Carlee Skaggs, Lincoln Pahl, Beau David and Jacob David.
