With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsa Zaragoza of Decatur, Indiana, born in Crystal City, Texas, who passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Salazar and Guadalupe Serna Salazar; and her sisters, Enendina Rosa and Martha Pimentel. She is survived by: her husband Mario Zaragoza of Decatur; her children, Mario Javier Zaragoza of Decatur, Carlos D. Zaragoza (Kristen) of Fort Wayne and Ariana M. Sponseller (Anthony) of Decatur; her siblings, Hector Salazar (Marsha) of Decatur, Joel Salazar (Cindy) of Cleveland, OH and Noelia Gomez (Robert) of San Antonio, TX; her brother-in-law Francisco Pimentel of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Adrian, Alexis, Elena, Aria, Sofia Zaragoza, Agustin and Cristian Sponseller.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
