It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Zimmerman of Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George J. Zimmerman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis and Evelyn Zimmerman (Wright); and his sister Karen Kohne. He is survived by: his wife Louisa A. Kohne of Decatur; his children, George Scott Zimmerman (Amy) of New Haven and Wendy L. Winget (Mark); his siblings-in-law, Kelly Kohne (Lisa) of Wolcottville and Shawn Devido (Tony) of Hoagland; and his grandchildren, Dalton Zimmerman, Alyssa Winget and Tiffanie Winget. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
