She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Garner and Mae Garner (Blount); her husband James D. Hakes; her great grandchild Kylen Jennings; her son-in-law Barry Stuckey; her sister Dixie Hurst (Bob); and her sister-in-law Daisy Garner.
She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey Hakes (Cathy) of Decatur, Indiana, Rebecca Stuckey of Decatur, Indiana and Dennis Hakes (Toni) of Decatur, Indiana; and her brother Kermit Garner (Rita) of Decatur, Indiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
