He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Eckrote Sr. and Elma Eckrote (Moser); his former wife Norma Jeane Heyne; his wife Dorothy Coyne (Salway); his daughter Roxann Rae Miller; and his sister Constance Cavanaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Dixie Hook (LeRoy) of Decatur and Michael Eckrote (Mary) of Decatur; his son-in-law Randy Miller of Ottawa, OH; and his stepdaughters, Karen Kaehr of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kristy Haines of Berne, IN, Kathy Pearson and Beth Lehman of Berne, IN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
