He is survived by: his father Dean Grote (Sue) of Bluffton, Indiana; his stepfather Brian Weil (Alice) of Decatur, Indiana; his brother Justin Weil (Kelsey) of Decatur, Indiana; his niece Kimber Weil; his stepsiblings, Kyle Lawson of Decatur, Indiana, Ethan Conrad of Decatur, Indiana, Natalie Anderson (Jason) of Columbia, Tennessee, Paul Grote (Denise) of Bluffton, Indiana and Stephen Grote (Lilliah); and his grandmothers, Dorothy E. Ruble of Decatur, Indiana and Connie Weil of Decatur, Indiana..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (500 E-1, Decatur, IN 46733).
Preferred memorials can be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
