It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Kay Baumgartner of Decatur, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Gronau; and her brother Terry Gronau. She is survived by: her husband Floyd Baumgartner of Decatur; her daughter Penny Smith (James) of Monroeville, IN; and her brother Daryl Gronau of North Carolina. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
