We are sad to announce that, on February 3, 2026, at the age of 88, Lloyd Knous of Decatur, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lloyd Knous to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford A. Knous and Stella L. Knous (Gallimore); his wife Patricia L. Freewalt; his son Scott Knous; his grandson-in-law Jon R. Trowbridge; and his siblings, Don, Allen, Wesley, Simon, James Knous, Evelyn Sorenson, Louise Long and Joice Scherer.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Knous (Pamela) of Decatur, Neal Knous of Decatur, Bruce Knous (Laura) of Decatur, Rodney Knous (Mary "Betsi") of Decatur, Duane Knous (Tammy) of Decatur, Barbara Knous (Adlai Hillison) of Decatur and Fawn Knous (Zeb Smith) of Decatur; and his siblings, Paul Knous (Pat), Charles Knous (Carole), Inez Jacobs and Julia Huff. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
