She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Garner and Glee Garner (Krugh); her husband James L. Frey; her daughter Carolyn Sue Frey; her grandson Caleb Frey; her sister Pat; her brother-in-law Bill Myers; her brother Thomas; her sister-in-law Sunya Garner; and her stepbrother Rev. Clarence Zimmerman.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary L. Frey (Sandra) of Decatur, Randy Frey (Simona) of Franklin and Matthew T. Frey (Danielle) of Decatur, Indiana; her stepsiblings, Rev. Dave Zimmerman of Arizona and Wauneta Reinhart (Bill) of Decatur, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Amber Rose Frey, Dustin Frey (Sarah), Joel Frey (Nikie), Kate Frey, Marc Frey (Morgan) and Becca Frey (Aaron Agler). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Preferred memorials are to Decatur Church of God – Youth Ministries or Riley Children's Hospital.
