It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marty Shaffer of Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Shaffer and Betty Shaffer (Tumbleson); his sons, Justin Shaffer (Kacie) of Decatur, IN and Andrew Shaffer (Amber) of Decatur, IN; his sisters, Pat Geimer of Waynedale, IN, Linda Carper of Corunna, IN, Sandy West of Berne, IN and Kathy Nestleroad of Montpelier, IN; and his grandchildren, Adalie, Aithen, Aryssa, Anson and Henry Shaffer.
Memorials may be given to Monroe Youth League or Adams County Cancer Coalition.
