He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul G. Stimpson and Ethel Stimpson (Barbato); his former wife Norma J. Stimpson (Heimann); and his sons, Matthew and Andrew Stimpson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stimpson of Decatur, IN; his children, Michael Stimpson (Deborah) of Fishers, IN, Tony Stimpson (Michelle) of Decatur, IN and Amy Ehlerding (Greg) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his stepchildren, Michele Hinshaw and Brad Hinshaw (Jackie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; a step grandson; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
