She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene G. Miller and Alice T. Miller (Hoke); her husband Warren E. "Bud" Schmitt; and her son Michael W. Schmitt. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Tim E. Schmitt (Susan) of Greenville, IN, Gary R. Schmitt (Kathleen) of Cave Creek, AZ, John M. Schmitt (Lisa Bryan) of Floyds Knobs, IN and Todd A. Schmitt (Kathy) of Decatur, IN; and her daughter-in-law Lin Schmitt. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Marks Church.
