He was predeceased by : his father Duane E. Rice; his brother Wayne Rice; his father-in-law William Evans; and his sister-in-law Lori Evans. He is survived by : his mother Carol A. Rice (Rakestraw) of Van Wert, Ohio; his wife Deb Rice of Decatur, Indiana; his daughters, Jennifer Menze (John) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jill Fromader (Jesse) of Decatur, Indiana and Jackie Araujo (Luis) of Monroe, Indiana; his brother Greg Rice (Pam) of Van Wert, Ohio; his mother-in-law Nancy Evans of Davidson; his brothers-in-law, William Evans (Jackie) of Van Wert, Ohio and Jay Evans (Dawn) of Davidson; and his grandchildren, Aubree Johnson, Max Menze, Madelyn Fromader, Grayson Araujo, Clara Menze, Oliver Araujo and Raymond Fromader.
