He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert P. Blomenberg and Bertha Marie Blomenberg (Koch); and his siblings, Sarah Blomenberg and James Blomenberg. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Blomenberg of Decatur; his children, David Blomenberg of Indianapolis, Indiana, Erik Blomenberg (Emily) of Dandridge, Tennessee and Beth McCloskey (Scott) of Missouri City, Texas; his siblings, Dr. Paula Blomenberg (Charles Rager) of Seward, Nebraska, John Blomenberg (Susan Ann) of Seward, Nebraska, Rhoda Toulouse (Dominick) of Seattle, Washington, Dr. Daniel Blomenberg (Deanna) of Norfolk, Nebraska and Andrea Woodburn (Drew) of York, Nebraska; his sister-in-law Janeen Blomenberg of Columbus, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Michael Blomenberg, Brandon McCloskey, Joshua Blomenberg and Madison McCloskey.
