He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wellman and Ruth Wellman (Weigel); his wife Jill A. Jackson; and his sisters, Kathy Barhorst, Connie Harshman and Becky Wellman.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan L. Wellman (Jamie) and Jennifer M. Wellman (Dave Krul) of Decatur; his siblings, Tom Wellman (Mary Lou) of New Palestine, IN, Ken Wellman (Karen) of Portland, IN, Ed Wellman (Linda) of Bryant, IN, Rick Wellman (Becky) of Selma, IN and Patty Price (Kevin) of Decatur; and his grandchildren, Delon, Lydea, Ruby, Mallorie, Kaylie, Peyton, Gracie and Lily.
