She is survived by: her children, Robert Romero of Decatur, Russell Romero (Linda) of Cecil, Ohio and Lori Rodriguez of Decatur, Indiana; her brother Everardo Avila (Dora Elia) of Del Rio, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Avila of Crystal City, Texas and Alberto Benavides of Bryan, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
