He was predeceased by: his father David Salway; his granddaughter Nacole; and his siblings, Howard, Harold, Don, Lola, Lila, Louise, Mary, Bud, Johnny, Whitey and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Salway of Coventry Meadows; his children, Barbara Perks (Dave) of Berne, IN, Cheryl McCullough (Rick) of Auburn, IN, Dianna Brooks (Jerry) of Warren, IN, Anita Sell (Steve) of Decatur, IN and Greg Salway (Lisa) of Ft. Wayne, IN; and his brothers, Jim Salway of Waterloo, IN and Noel Salway (Pat) of Decatur, IN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to American Legion Post #43 Color Guard.
