With sadness, we share the passing of William Hood (Decatur, Indiana). William, born on April 17, 1929, passed away on July 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember William for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. He was predeceased by: his wife Alta Hood (Low); his children, Vicky Burgess and Steve Hood; and his son-in-law Larry Wolfe. He is survived by: his children, Regina Wolfe and Alan Hood (Kim); his son-in-law Gary Burgess; and his sister Judy Reynolds (Chris). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
