It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol J. Maxwell Cox of Delphi, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 83, on October 25, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ancil Maxwell and Lois Allbaugh Maxwell; her daughters, Kimberly Baker of Parkville, MO and Pamela (Jerry Wenger); her siblings, Marjorie (Butch Calvert) and Ralph Maxwell of Burlington; and her grandchild Ashton Mattingly Schwerr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Abbott Funeral Home, Inc. (421 E Main St, Delphi, IN 46923). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Delphi Preservation Society.
