He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudis L. Greer, and Goldie E. Greer, Sr. (Mourer); his daughter Rebecca Greer; and the mother of his children Judith DeZarn. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristina Serra (Michael) of West Lafayette and Melissa Mounce of Delphi; his grandchildren, Megan Mitchell (Brandon), Josh (Olivia), Levi Lindamood, Benjamin (Nacketa), Abigail Serra, Ross, Parker Stante, Isaac (Miranda), Isabella Mounce, Madison Greer, Braxton Greer, Kenzie, Briella and Kaidan Greer-Bender; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Jeremiah Mitchell, Bentley Alexander-Lindamood, Leroy, Lainey Lindamood, Micah Johnson, Jr., Andres, Henley and Isla Greer-Bender; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin and Dallas Mitchell; and his siblings, Vicki Johnson (Merv) of Oakwood, Illinois., Donald Greer (Karen) of St. Louis and Larry Greer (Gloria) of Lusby, Maryland..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund's In Memory Program, 1530 Wilson Blvd., Suite 550, Arlington, VA 22209, which enables the families of those who came home from Vietnam but later died as a result of their service the opportunity to have them be forever memorialized.
