He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bell Best; his children, Gregory Scott Goyer, Christina Lynn McMichen (T. Blane), Jennifer Dell Flinchum (Mark) and Cynthia Marie "Cindy" Goyer; his brother James L. Goyer (Mary); his grandchildren, Ross W. Bachman (Kagan), John Thomas "Tommy" McMichen, Julie A. McMichen, Charles M. Carter and William G. "Liam" Huss; and his great grandchildren, Lucy M., Madeline R., Theodore M. and Olive R. Bachman.
