We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024, at the age of 86, Lovely Wheeler of Delphi, Indiana, born in Kingsport, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lovely Wheeler to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lovely may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by : her mother Edith. She is survived by : her husband Barry Wheeler; and her children, Steven L. Wheeler (Sharon) of Medlothian, VA and Kimberly Stoddard (Bill) of Flora.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Christian Church (8 E South St, Flora, IN 46929). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. She had five grandchildren and six great grandchildren, of which she had only met the oldest due to the Pandemic.

Memorial contributions may be made to Flora First Christian Church, Children's Garden Fund (proposed day care center at Flora First Christian Church) in Gay's honor.
