He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Criswell and Nettie Criswell (Whiteman); his brothers, Ronald Criswell and David Criswell; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Sondra Criswell.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Crawn; his children, Phil Criswell of Indianapolis, Eric Criswell (Kimberly) of Ft. Wayne, Hans Schmitter (Lufi) of Portugal, Julie Wise and Sarah Kline (Dave); his brothers, Bill Criswell of Idaville and Bernie Criswell (Sandy) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jacob Criswell (McKenna) of Ft. Wayne, Alexia Law (Pell) of Ft. Wayne, Anya Schmitter, MayraSchmitter and Johan Schmitter; his great grandchild Mae Law; and his sister-in-law Linda Criswell of Boswell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home (6368 US-24, Monticello, IN 47960). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Hickory Grove Church (9714 N 700 W, Delphi, IN 46923).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Hickory Grove Cemetery Association.
