With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Caryl B. DeBoer of Demotte, Indiana, who passed away on June 21, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hoekstra and Anna Hoekstra (Kikkert); her husband Stanley DeBoer; and her sister Dorothy Broertjes. She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Van Stedum (Warren) of Holland, MI, Crystal Bailey (Rodger) of Fair Oaks, IN, Linda Hamstra (Bob) of Rensselaer, IN and Marvin DeBoer (Terri) of DeMotte, IN; her brother Ted Hoekstra (Donna) of Merrillville, IN; and her brother-in-law Will Broertjes of South Holland, IL.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Caryl's name to Mobility Ministries, Inc. 12352 N. 550 W. Wheatfield, IN 46392.
