He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Mandernach and Dorothy Mandernach (Beiriger); his siblings, Dot Kane, Vivian Turner, Betty Koschnick, Harriet Schanlaub and Robert Mandernach; and his stepfather Pat Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Adria Mandernach of DeMotte, IN; his children, Kurt Mandernach (Hayley) of Crown Point, IN, Michael Mandernach (Chelsea) of Grants Pass, OR and Traci Wiley (Mark) of Schererville, IN; and his grandchildren, Allison Nevitt (Heath), Sarah Charman, Kylie Kerr (Alex), Ryan Mandernach, Mason and McKenna Wiley. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tranquility Hospice and/or Adria Mandernach scholarship fund through Roselawn American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
