He is survived by: his children, Teresa Wilson and Cecil Brooks; his grandchildren, Carissa Underwood (Andrew), Ashley DeMoss (Justin) and Devon Wilson (Stacey); and his great grandchildren, Makayla Beverly, Ogden Underwood, Bently Wilson, Xzavier DeMoss, Ryder Nelson and Lillian Wilson. He is also survived by grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Steinke Funeral Home (403 N Front St, Rensselaer, IN 47978). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (8435 IN-114, Rensselaer, IN 47978).
