He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mak and Charmaine Mak (Hockney); and his brother Bradley Mak. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Pendergrass (Scott), Scott Mak, Todd Mak (Holly) and Matthew Mak (Kristin); his grandchildren, Katelynd, Zachary, Sean, Jacob, Briea, Mylee, Mason, MacKenzie, Matthew Jr., Emma and Charlotte; and his sister Karen Kleinman (Marion 'Robby' Robertson).
