He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark E. Sixbey and Carrie Arletta Sixbey (Wales); his wife Teresa Margaret "Midge" Shultz; and his siblings, Robert Warren Sixbey, Joe Allen Sixbey and Donna Louise Leavell (Sixbey).

He is survived by: his children, Robin Skiles (Sixbey), Kenton D. Sixbey (Jami), T. Michelle Beachy (Carey) and Renee W. Low (Art); Patsy Evans. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Chili Community Cemetery.
