She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Mitchell and Wilhelminna Johanna Hetzner (Gevers); her spouse Rusell Wayne "Shakey" Slusser; and her siblings, Alfred William Hetzner, John Paul Hetzner, Deverl La Rue Hetzner, Dorothy Hightshoe and Sally Snyder.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Wayne Hetzner (Julie Anne); her grandson Zachary Wayne Hetzner; her stepgranddaughter Jessica Thomas (Elwood); her stepgreat-grandson Jacob Thomas; her sister-in-law Patty Hetzner; her nephew Allen Guinn of Denver; her sister-in-law Gloria Hetzner; and her close friends, Shirlee Murphy and Marilyn Spangler. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the McClain Funeral Home (3500 IN-16, Denver, IN 46926). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
