She is survived by: her children, Jimmi Jean Fessel (Mark), Dwight Gurtz (Mary) and Gregory Gurtz (Dona); her grandchildren, Amy Matz (Christopher), Janet Ackles (Rod), Jason Fessel, Kristie McKillip (Michael), Brandi Gurtz, Jessica Lincoln (Anthony), Tonya Gurtz, James Gurtz and David Gurtz (Jansen); and her great grandchildren, Christian Rhodes (Emily), Cassandra Sallee (Garrett), Jaxon McKillip, Emma Gurtz, Keylie Lincoln, Dylan Lincoln, Jacob Lincoln, Tyler Crecelius, Bryce Gurtz, Grace Gurtz and Brady Gurtz.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swarens Funeral Home (1405 IN-64, Ramsey, IN 47166). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
