He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Alice Kay Cline and George Samuel "Sam" Cline; his wife Bettie Lee Smith Cline; his siblings, Karen Sue Cline and Kenneth Earl Cline; and his great grandchild Clara Grace Owens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelly Collins Owens (Michael) of Deputy and Sheila Collins Sparks (Tim) of Earlysville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Natalie Owens Garrett (Charlie), Andrew Owens, Meredith Owens Brewer (Nate), Luna Sparks (Allison), Collin Sparks (Grace) and Michael Howard; his great grandchildren, Owen Garrett, Asher Garrett, Mason Sparks and Jaxon Sparks; his siblings, Clara Jane Downs (Ken) of Knoxville, Tennessee, John W. Cline (Donna) of Deputy, J. Timothy Cline (Linda) of Deputy and George W. Cline of Hawaii; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Davis of Deputy, Indiana and Pat Smith (Lois) of Dale, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
