Barton L. McLain Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Barton L. McLain of Dillsboro, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Barton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield McLain and Marie McLain (Henderson); his wife Jenny McLain (Botter); his brother Werner "Hop" McLain; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy McLain and Earl Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Gardiner McLain (Suzie) of Dillsboro and Bentley McLain (Tina) of Nicholasville, Kentucky; and his siblings, Tracy McLain of Danville, Kentucky and Sidney McLain Bryant (Bill) of Evarts, Kentucky. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Memorials may be given in honor of Barton to Hope Center.
