He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sherwood and Hazel Sherwood (McMichael); his wife Lois May Sherwood; his grandson Raymond Smith; and his siblings, Irene Richardson, Evelyn Brandon, Juanita Daugherty, Eulala Halterman, Cliff, George, Henry Jr., Kenneth, Frank and Lowell Sherwood.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Adams (Noel) of Liberty, Michael "Mick" Sherwood (Becky) of Plainfield, James Sherwood of Liberty, Rick Sherwood (Sandy), Joe Sherwood, Ben Sherwood (Nancy), Amy Bunker (Steve) of Centerville and Matt (Stephanie) of Richmond; his brother Charles "PeeWee" Sherwood (Carolyn) of Cambridge City; and his sisters-in-law, Viola of Cambridge City and Nancy Sherwood of Cambridge City. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 5 generations of great-great grandchildren.
