With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna June DeKemper of Dubois, Indiana, who passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Edna may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McBride and Rhoda McBride (Seybold); her husband Morris DeKemper; and her sister Mittie Audry McBride. She is survived by: her sons, Terry DeKemper (Carol) of Celestine, IN, Tom DeKemper (Tina) of Jasper, IN and Joe DeKemper (Cherie) of Dubois, IN. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
