She was predeceased by: her parents, John Voelkel and Goldie Voelkel (Comstock); her spouse Channing Hall; and her siblings, Gladys Ferrell, Faye Rhienhart, Clarence, Stanley, Wesley and John Ray Voelkel.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Hall of Westerville, OH, Curtis Hall (Cherryl) of Cuzco, IN and Channa Helming (Dwayne) of Dubois, IN; her grandchildren, Clayton Helming (Mariah), Kristin Schroering (Nathan) and Jordan Hall (Phoebe Baker); her stepgranddaughter Jessie Reitmeyer; her great grandchildren, Channing, Raelynn Schroering and Hudson Helming; her sister Ella Himsel (late Charles) of Dubois, IN; and her sister-in-law Diana Voelkel Preceding.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ (5535 E Vine St, Dubois, IN 47527). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
