He is survived by: his siblings, Melvin, Ralph, Leon, Otis Kendall, Doris Phegley, Virginia Kendall and Opal Pearl; his close friend Juanita Gilbert; and his sister Berniece Phegley of Linton, IN.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
