He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Ann Hale (Kincaid); and his son Kenneth Hale. He is survived by: his wife Paula Jane Hale (Ulrich); his daughters, Cheri Stephens (Charlie) of Linton and Pam Marshall (James) of Linton; and his grandchildren, Kela Delph (Kyle), Kami Fuller (Kyle), Jennifer Mathis (Brad), Beau Hale (Holly), Brandon Millick (Starr), Erik Millick (Heather) and Brittnie Chambers (Jared). He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson-Poindexter Chapel (89 NW C St, Linton, IN 47441). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
