He was predeceased by: his parents, Nobel Carson (Buck) and Helen Fay Carson (Howder); his wife Kimbery Carson; and his siblings, Mike Carson and Charlotte Strate.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Nelson of Dugger and Mendi Englert of Ferdinard; his sister Trena Carson (Brenda Carson) of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Kody Nelson, Logan and Landon Englert; and his great grandchild Brently Nelson. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
