We announce the death of Mary Evelyn Bedwell (Dugger, Indiana), who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 103. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Robertson and Evaline Boone Robertson; her husband Kenneth Eugene Bedwell; her daughter Suellen Arnold (Paul Alan Arnold); and her sisters, Marjorie Price, Katherine Larsen, Edith Robbins and Nadine Robertson.
She is survived by: her son Lance Bedwell (Elizabeth Ann) of Conway, SC.; and her grandchildren, Carol Jones (Dwayne), Dee Ann Nesbit (Jim), Cathy Brummett (Greg), Lana Jones (Jim) and Paula Reynolds (David). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, and 2 great great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Newkirk's Funeral Home (8195 E Main St, Dugger, IN 47848). A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hickory Cemetery.
