Donald E. DeWitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald E. DeWitt of Dunkirk, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald E. DeWitt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence DeWitt and Mary DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Don DeWitt (Lisa), Robert DeWitt (Brenda), Dan DeWitt (Teresa), Scott DeWitt (Becky) and Brian DeWitt (Laura); and his siblings, James DeWitt, Sue Rinker, Betty Neudecker and Ruth Ann Locke. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garden View Funeral Home (10501 IN-3, Muncie, IN 47303). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Memory Cemetery (10703 IN-3, Muncie, IN 47303).
Memorial contributions may be made in Donald's name to the American Cancer Society.
