She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sr. Sargent and Anita Sargent (Ferguson); her siblings, James Jr., Alan, John Sargent and Betty Miller (Peanut); and her sister-in-law Diana Shaner Sargent.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Caldwell (Luke Sutton), Maria Babb (Jason), Esteban Sargent, Erica Sargent (Jordan Croyle) and Felicia Hambrock; her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Alaina Jo, Taytum and Rayna; her sisters, Diana Morales and Deborah Vanscyoc; and her sisters-in-law, Babbette Sargent and Kristina Sargent. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed towards IU Health Ball Cancer Center in Muncie.
