It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John S. Mackin of Dyer, Indiana, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mackin and Elizabeth Mackin; and his sister Mary Beth Mackin. He is survived by: his wife Susan Mackin; his sons, Christopher Mackin (late Erin) and Kellen Mackin (Sierra); his grandchildren, Hank and Solace; and his siblings, Patrick Mackin (Nancy), Joanne Mackin, Kelly Bruce (Monty) and Christopher Mackin (Lisa). He is also survived by sons, grandchildren, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in John's name to the American Cancer Society.
