She was predeceased by: her husband Richard E. Switzer; and her parents, Magdalena Kosakowski and John Kosakowski. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Heflin (Josh) and Mindy Bodnar (Alex); her grandchildren, Kyle Switzer (Emily Vilchis), Megan Heflin, Reid Bodnar and Trayce Bodnar; her great grandchildren, Rylynn Finnen and Milena Switzer; and her sister Joyce Cap (Greg). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
