She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Sandra Shelby (Wertz); and her parents, Angeline Shelby (Duda) and James L. Shelby. She is survived by: her brother James G. Shelby; her nieces, Nancy Arendt (Shelby) and Melinda Bendle (Kevin); her nephew Daniel Shelby (Jocelyn); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hope Meierkort, Margaret, Elisabeth Bendle, Sophia, Cailyn, Wesley and Jessie Shelby.
Memorial contributions may be given to William J. Riley Hospice House in Munster, Indiana (https://www.hospicecalumet.org) or St. Jude Children's Hospital, both of which she supported regularly.
