Sharon leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sharon’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sharon will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Kikkert (Zeilenga) and Peter Kikkert; her siblings, Peter Kikkert Jr. and Vernel DeYoung; and her nephew James "Jim" DeYoung.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Triemstra; her daughter Krystina Triemstra-Peeks (Kaleb); her niece Diane Jansma (Chuck); her nephew Steve DeYoung (Laura); and her pet Beau.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fagen Miller Funeral Homes - St. John (8580 Wicker Ave, St John, IN 46373). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at the Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery (24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449).
