With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vickie Lynn Marcum of Dyer, Indiana, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Vickie find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by : her husband James E. Marcum Jr.; her parents, Jerry Garrett and Donna Garrett; and her brother Gearld Garrett. She is survived by : her children, Samantha Damico (Bob), Cody Phillips (Amy) and Zachery Marcum; her grandchildren, Matilyn and Justin Deangelo; and her siblings, Lela Murphy (Kevin) and Dean Garrett (Suzanne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fagen Miller Funeral Homes - Dyer (1920 Hart St, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (8178 S Cline Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307).
