He was predeceased by: his parents, August Hoecker and Florence Hoecker; his sister Marylin Hoecker; and his daughter Barbara Dailey. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hoecker (Bette); his children, Carl Hoecker (Misty), Jim Hoecker and Sue Koselke (Bill); and his sister Florence Lustig (Hoecker). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
